Primary School Catches National Attention for Performing 'Left Foot Dance'

A primary school in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Yunnan Province has caught national attention for performing the "Left Foot Dance" between classes. The video shows nearly 800 students performing the dance that starts with the left foot, which has been passed down for thousands of years.
In Mouding County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture of China's Yunnan Province, there is a dance that has been passed down for thousands of years called the "Left Foot Dance". It is a combination of song, dance and music, and it gets its name because it starts with the left foot when dancing. In 2008, the "Left Foot Dance" was included in China's national intangible cultural heritage.
